You've Got a Voicemail! Take a Seat at the Table

Food policy advocate and acclaimed author Katherine Miller has a message for you
A seat at the table (at Tinder Hearth in Maine). This salad was incredible but stop reading this caption and start listening to the voicemail! Love you!

I know everyone’s still busy having a Brat summer, but did you finish reading All Fours by Miranda July yet? I haven’t and I blame it on being distracted by the literal beach in Maine (and also that salad, pictured above). Big news tho, dear reader: there’s a special

voicemail that Katherine Miller left for you.

Katherine is an incredible force who has had a huge impact on our food system so far. She’s trained most of America’s best chefs like José Andrés on how to become agents of change beyond the kitchen, from fighting hunger relief efforts in congress to supporting local farmers, confronting racism and sexism in the hospitality industry to fighting food waste, and so much more.

In her highly acclaimed book, At the Table, Miller drew from her work with the James Beard Foundation to create a roadmap on how to become an advocate for change in the food system. And with less than 100 days to Election Day, whats on our plates are on the ballot, too. Buy and read her book and then host a dinner party about organizing your action plan this election season. Thanks for the message, Katherine!
